Dalam sambutannya yang membawakan acara tersebut, Kapolda NTB mengatakan bahwa pangkat adalah sistem komunikasi Miranti yang digunakan oleh TNI, intelejen dan lembaga pemerintah lainnya, sebuah pemerintahan militer.

Melalui upacara kenaikan pangkat ini menunjukkan potensi Polri yang perlu diimplementasikan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan, kemampuan dan tanggung jawab untuk menghadapi tantangan ke depan.

“Selain itu, kita sebentar lagi memasuki era demokrasi, tentunya kita membutuhkan kehadiran aparat kepolisian untuk menjaga ketertiban masyarakat khususnya di NTB”, jelasnya.

Kapolri juga menginformasikan bahwa jumlah polisi dan perwira yang akan dinaikkan pangkatnya di Polri sebanyak 837 orang. Ini termasuk 7 pekerja AKBP, 15 pekerja Kompol, 49 pekerja AKP, 52 pekerja IPTU, 51 pekerja AIPDA, 374 pekerja AIPDA. , 172 bripka buruh, brigadir tiang 82, bripka perwira 1 baratu 1 dan ketua karang taruna 1.
